What this website uses and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 12 October 2026. This cookie policy applies to visitors of ateq.com from the European Economic Area and Switzerland.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser, so that information can be read again on a later visit. Similar technologies, such as scripts, web beacons (tracking pixels) and browser storage, can be used for the same purposes. In this policy, we call all of them cookies.

2. Cookies on ateq.com

The website's own navigation, country search, animations and locally hosted media do not set tracking cookies or store preferences in local or session storage. A necessary first-party cookie records your analytics choice for six months. Embedded third-party services are described separately below. Server connection logs are separate from cookies stored in your browser.

Fonts and local videos are served by our own website. On the Careers and Worldwide pages, opening the application or contact window loads a third-party form from HubSpot. HubSpot receives technical connection data and may use cookies or browser storage according to its service settings.

HubSpot forms are not loaded during the initial page visit. They are loaded only when you open the application or contact window. For information about HubSpot cookies, see HubSpot’s privacy policy.

The Careers employee testimonial and the article featuring the Laurent Gérard interview offer embedded YouTube videos. The YouTube player is loaded only when you select a playback button. Loading it sends connection data to Google/YouTube and may involve cookies or similar storage. See Google’s privacy policy.

ATEQ uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-R2MGPB9PM3, to produce site traffic statistics. Google Analytics is blocked by default and is requested only after you select “Accept analytics”. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad-personalisation signals are disabled in our website implementation. Rejecting analytics does not affect the site's necessary functions.

The first table lists the cookies implemented directly by ATEQ and the configured GA4 tag. HubSpot and YouTube cookie names, lifetimes and storage behaviour can vary according to their live service settings. Form records, server logs and email tracking data have distinct retention periods, described in our Privacy policy.

3. Consent

On your first visit, the analytics panel lets you accept or reject Google Analytics with separate controls. GA4 remains blocked unless you accept it. Your choice is retained for six months. Opening an application or contact window requests the HubSpot form; selecting video playback requests the YouTube player. These actions do not provide consent to unrelated analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking. Any choices presented within a form apply to the purposes described alongside those choices.

4. Managing cookies

Use the “Cookie settings” control in the footer at any time to accept or reject future Google Analytics measurement. When analytics is rejected, the website records the new choice, sends a denied consent signal and removes ATEQ's accessible _ga cookies. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

5. Your rights

You keep all the rights described in our Privacy policy: access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
