Privacy policy.

Your information. Handled with care.

How we collect, use and protect personal data.

Last updated: 12 October 2026. This privacy policy applies to visitors of ateq.com from the European Economic Area and Switzerland.

The data controller is ATEQ, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €2,510,000, registered under 304 327 133 R.C.S. Versailles. Its registered office is ZI des Dames, 15 rue des Dames, 78340 Les Clayes-sous-Bois, France.

It explains what happens to the personal data we receive through this website. We follow data protection law, which means that we:

  • state clearly why we process personal data, through this policy;
  • collect only the data we actually need for legitimate purposes;
  • ask for your consent first whenever consent is required;
  • protect your data with appropriate security measures, and require the same from anyone processing data on our behalf;
  • respect your right to access, correct or delete your data.

1. What data we collect

The Careers and Worldwide pages offer forms provided by HubSpot, loaded when you open the application or contact window. We receive the information and any documents you choose to submit through these forms to consider your application or answer your request. We also handle the technical data your browser sends when you view a page (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages visited), which our host records in server logs to run and secure the site, and the information you choose to send us if you contact us by email or phone.

The unsolicited application form requests the following information:

  • Required fields: first name, last name, email address, country or region, and a resume (CV).
  • Optional fields: phone number, position or area of interest, cover letter, message, and LinkedIn profile URL.
  • A required checkbox stating your agreement to the processing of your personal data for recruitment purposes.

Required fields are marked with an asterisk in the form and must be completed to submit your application. Optional fields and documents are provided at your discretion.

The Worldwide contact form requests the following information:

  • Required fields: first name, email address and message.
  • Optional field: last name.
  • The subsidiary is prefilled from the contact button you select, and its associated country is displayed. The selected subsidiary is included with your enquiry to identify the local team concerned.

Your name and email address allow us to identify and reply to you. Your message helps us understand your request, and the selected subsidiary allows us to route it to the appropriate team. Required fields are marked with an asterisk and must be completed to send your enquiry.

2. Why we use it

  • to run the website, keep it secure and fix problems (our legitimate interest);
  • to answer you when you contact us (our legitimate interest, or steps taken at your request before a contract).
  • to assess unsolicited applications and identify potential future recruitment opportunities (our legitimate interest in recruiting employees);
  • to send relevant professional information to business contacts (our legitimate interest in business development, with the right to object at any time).
  • with your consent, to measure site traffic and understand how visitors use the website through Google Analytics 4.

We do not sell your personal data. You can object to direct marketing at any time using the unsubscribe option in our emails or by contacting us.

For business communications, ATEQ obtains contact details when you request a follow-up through a form or provide your details to our team at a trade show. Providing contact details for a commercial follow-up does not in itself constitute consent to email tracking.

ATEQ uses Brevo to send emails. These emails may include a tracking pixel and tracked links that record openings and clicks. You can disable email tracking through the available opt-out mechanism. Email tracking requires prior consent where required by applicable law; an opt-out alone does not constitute that consent.

3. Who we share it with

With HubSpot for the Careers application and Worldwide contact forms, and with our hosting provider, OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France), which processes the server logs on our behalf. We may also disclose data when the law, a court order or a law enforcement authority requires it. If ATEQ or this website is involved in a merger, sale or acquisition, data may be passed on to our advisers and to the new owners.

Unsolicited applications and CVs are accessible to ATEQ's marketing and human resources teams. Worldwide enquiries are accessible to the marketing team and the subsidiary concerned by your request. Access is limited to people who need the information for these purposes. Brevo processes email delivery and tracking data on our behalf.

These service providers do not all receive the same information: HubSpot processes form submissions, OVH processes website connection logs, and Brevo processes email communications and tracking. With your analytics consent, Google processes audience measurement data through GA4. Google/YouTube receives technical data when its video player is requested.

HubSpot may access and process form data globally, including in the United States and in countries where its affiliates and subprocessors operate. For transfers of European data to countries without an adequacy decision, HubSpot's Data Processing Agreement provides for appropriate transfer mechanisms, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. The list of subprocessors and applicable locations may change; further information is available in HubSpot's Data Processing Agreement.

4. How long we keep it

  • Unsolicited applications: the complete application file, including the CV and any supporting documents, is kept in HubSpot for three years from the last contact with the candidate, to consider future opportunities. At the end of this period, the application is deleted unless the candidate agrees to a further defined retention period.
  • Worldwide contact details used for prospecting: three years from the last contact with the prospect. This period does not automatically apply to records retained for contractual or statutory obligations.
  • Email opening and click tracking data: one year.

Server logs are processed by OVH for website operation and security and are retained for ten years under ATEQ's declared hosting configuration. Other correspondence is retained for the time needed to handle your request, subject to applicable legal obligations.

5. Cookies

Google Analytics 4 is blocked until you accept analytics and your choice can be changed through “Cookie settings” in the footer. The Careers application and Worldwide contact forms use a third-party service provided by HubSpot. The Careers employee testimonial and one article offer YouTube videos that load when you request playback. See our Cookie policy for details.

6. Security

We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data: only the people who need it have access, access is protected, and our measures are reviewed regularly.

7. Other websites

This policy does not cover the websites linked from ateq.com, such as the websites of our divisions and subsidiaries, our recruitment platform or social networks. Please read their own privacy policies.

8. Your rights

  • to know why your data is needed, what happens to it and how long it is kept;
  • to access the personal data we hold about you;
  • to have it supplemented, corrected, deleted or blocked;
  • to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, and have your data deleted;
  • to receive your data and have it transferred to another controller;
  • to object to the processing of your data, unless there are justified grounds for it.
  • to provide instructions concerning your personal data after your death, under French law.

To exercise these rights, contact ATEQ using the details below. We respond within one month of receiving your request. This period may be extended by a further two months where necessary because of the complexity or number of requests; we will inform you within the first month and explain why. We may request additional information to verify your identity where there is reasonable doubt. Rights apply subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by law. You can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority, including the CNIL in France.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Please check this page from time to time; we will also let you know of important changes wherever possible.
